Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Social Media Account Executive with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate is a strong writer and communicator who's capable of developing and managing high-impact social media content and campaigns and has experience working with clients. This remote role with our New York City-based firm has the potential to grow into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Content Creation: Ghostwrite engaging social media content for B2B clients, with a focus on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.
- Strategy Development: Design and implement strategies to grow and engage followers. Oversee content production, monitor analytics, and provide actionable insights to clients. Generate creative ideas and concepts for engaging content.
- Client Collaboration: Lead discussions on innovative ways to leverage social media content. Maintain frequent and proactive communication with clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Content Curation: Source and distill complex business news and articles for social media posts, ensuring relevance and clarity.
- Content Management: Develop and maintain an organized content calendar. Track key deadlines and deliverables for client accounts, ensuring all materials are up-to-date and accessible.
- Project Coordination: Manage recurring tasks such as preparing agendas, social media reports, and detailed activity updates.
What We're Looking For:
- Industry Expertise: Solid understanding of social media, communications, and PR best practices, with direct experience in a PR, creative agency or similar environment.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in creating and implementing effective social media strategies. Experience with B2B companies is a plus.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent leadership skills with outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a talent for crafting concise and compelling content.
- Organized & Efficient: Strong multitasking abilities and an aptitude for managing multiple projects simultaneously with a keen eye for detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Photoshop. Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms is a plus.
- Curious & Adaptable: A proactive learner with a passion for staying informed on industry trends, news, and best practices.
- High level of ethics and integrity
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
