About the role:

Inizio Evoke Access is looking for a Market Access Copywriter to join the team. As a Market Access Copywriter, you will develop copy for promotional materials and resources based on understanding of client business strategies, communicating to the target audiences, including payer value propositions, PIE resources, and other payer-facing communications. You will also develop copy for promotional materials and resources for branded pharmaceutical products that payer customers and pharmaceutical sales representatives use with healthcare professionals. You will be fully remote and report to President, Inizio Evoke Access.

What you'll do:

1. Shape clients’ messages by transforming complex business copy or concepts into more succinct and comprehensive communication
2. Maintain command of content on resources with client comments, references, and other critical documents
3. Manage the quality, medical accuracy, and agreement of assigned projects to deadlines, project goals, and specifications
4. Support the Creative team with ideas for appropriate visuals, and for developing compelling and engaging assets
5. Prepare materials for medical-legal review and participate in clients’ medical-legal review processes, providing solutions to ensure/accelerate approval, including accurate referencing and annotating of all materials, following style established for client.
6. Engage with the cross-matrix team to become acquainted with client’s challenges and opportunities for their products in the market
7. Work to shape clients’ messages by transforming complex business copy or concepts into more succinct and comprehensive communication
8. Research current medical/managed care landscape for assigned products to identify and support new strategies
9. Manage the quality, medical accuracy, and alignment of assigned projects to deadlines, project objectives and specifications
10. Collaborate with other creative resources to ensure consistency of approach and alignment of brand strategy
11. Accurate referencing and annotating of all material, following style established for client (usually AMA)
12. Provide onsite input and support at client meetings, as needed

What You'll Bring:

1. Bachelor's degree in life/health related sciences, or English/marketing/journalism
2. 3+ years of experience as a medical writer for pharmaceutical writing market access copy for payers
3. In-depth experience developing a broad scope of communications materials for a range of audiences, including payers (value prop writing experience required)
4. Diverse experience across therapeutic products and disease
5. Knowledge of medical, regulatory, and legal review processes for pharmaceutical companies for promotional materials
6. Command and understanding of AMA and related pharmaceutical styles
7. Ability to understand pharma marketing and market access strategy and develop copy and messaging with clinical and economic data
8. Research skills, e.g., ability to undertake reviews of the scientific literature
9. Values the importance of teamwork
10. Integrity in managing confidential internal and client information

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
