Engage Partners is hiring! Our client a Global Leader in the Beauty industry is seeking a full time experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.

Job Summary:

As the Senior Manager of Corporate Communications, you will play a pivotal role in formulating and executing a comprehensive public relations and external affairs strategy aligned with our company's mission, goals, and values. Reporting directly to the Director of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, you will lead an integrated communications strategy focused on enhancing our brand recognition, safeguarding corporate reputation, and nurturing stakeholder relations. We are seeking a strategic thinker with in-depth knowledge of the beauty industry, outstanding communication skills, a results-driven mindset, and a proactive approach to cultivating and maintaining diverse stakeholder relationships.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies in line with the company’s mission and objectives to boost brand awareness, fortify corporate reputation, and generate positive media coverage across various channels.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and key external stakeholders to amplify brand messaging, secure earned media, and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee an integrated communications plan for both internal and external channels, including compelling content for press releases, corporate announcements, media pitches, and executive communications that effectively convey our brand's values, mission, and unique selling propositions.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies and community organizations, to enhance brand recognition and representation in key forums.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to effectively manage and mitigate potential issues and reputational risks during sensitive situations.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, providing strategic guidance to brand teams on partnership opportunities and ensuring alignment with the overall corporate mission and values.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify opportunities and potential risks, providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of PR and external affairs initiatives, tracking progress toward communications objectives.
  • Supervise and mentor 1-2 direct reports, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or public affairs; prior experience in corporate social responsibility is advantageous.
  • Proven track record in designing and executing comprehensive PR campaigns, media relations strategies, and external affairs initiatives, preferably within a global corporate setting.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting authentic and impactful corporate communications plans.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of crafting compelling narratives and presenting complex information in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive approach, capable of working effectively across diverse teams and with executive leadership.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities with agility and attention to detail.
