The Opportunity

OpenText is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Analyst .  The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and solving real business problems.  This person will report to the Director, Demand Generation and support the Online Experiences team.  Having experience with web analytics (GA4) and tag management (GTM) will be key to success in this role.

The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst will help scale the growth of our B2C and B2B businesses across a multitude of cybersecurity and data protection products. The role will be responsible for the creation, setup, and maintenance of different data systems (data derived from paid media traffic and online visitor behavior). This will include working closely with key stakeholders to ensure that the data is accurate and received in a timely manner.

 

You Are Great At

  • Technical implementation of web tracking using Google Tag Manager
  • Implementation of conversion tracking pixels (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Deep-dive analysis of Google Analytics data to find Actionable Insights for the digital marketing teams
  • Providing ongoing support for data-related queries
  • Own and drive migration of multiple GA3 instances to GA4
  • Keeping up to date with latest industry technologies and changes (e.g., GA4, GDPR etc.)
  • Supporting proposals that require tagging and data insight requirements - design and creation of complex reports and problem resolution
  • Ad hoc troubleshooting, problem-solving and data-analysis as required
  • Supporting the data visualization team using Google Data Studio and Tableau
  • Documenting the configuration of GA and GTM as well as existing and under development data models, dashboards, and metrics definitions.

 

What It Takes

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant discipline
  • 12+ years of mostly relevant experience
  • 5+ years of experience and proficiency in using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
  • Extensive experience with Excel, Tableau and Google Data Studio or any other BI tool
  • 2+ years of experience with setup, testing, documentation, end-user analysis and design specifications
  • Experience working with data loads and transformation
  • Analytical skills and ability to set up and monitor data loads for Global reporting
  • Strong written & oral communication skills
  • Task management and ability to effectively manage multiple high priority projects
  • Strong ability to work across departmental teams
  • Results driven

 

 

For Colorado residents, this job is expected to pay in the range of $117,000 to $176,000 based salary as well as an annual company performance-base bonus in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan.  Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
