MEDvidi is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our platform engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a growing healthcare technology company, building and maintaining scalable infrastructure that supports AI-driven medical solutions in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of DevOps/Platform Engineering experience.
- Strong systems fundamentals with deep understanding of how computers actually work beyond modern abstractions.
- Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Network protocols and infrastructure knowledge.
- System performance analysis experience (OOM conditions, resource management, process debugging).
- Hands-on AWS experience with EC2, EKS, RDS, ElastiCache, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, API Gateway, ALB, S3.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and EKS, including cluster management, node scaling, and policy enforcement.
- Strong Terraform experience for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and automated deployment pipelines.
- Practical experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, CloudWatch.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles (Cybersecurity Essentials level).
- Container technologies experience: Docker, container registries (ECR), image management.
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance work efficiency and automate routine tasks.
- Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools (Karpenter, Kyverno, or similar).
- HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
- Blue-green and Canary deployment strategies.
- API design and gateway management experience.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with ability to diagnose complex system issues.
- Developer-focused approach with understanding of developer workflows.
- Strong technical writing skills for documentation and knowledge sharing.
- Proficiency in Russian and English.
