Cognizant is seeking a Senior Devops Engineer for an onsite role in Westlake Village, CA.

The salary range for this role is between $107,000 to $123,000 depending on experience and qualifications of the candidate. All applicants must have valid work authorization.

Responsibilities.

1. Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
2. Oversee the integration of Java-based applications with GitHub repositories to streamline version control and collaboration.
3. Provide expertise in monitoring and logging using Grafana and Datadog to ensure system performance and reliability.
4. Collaborate with development teams to automate testing and deployment processes, reducing manual intervention.

- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to manage and provision resources in a consistent and scalable manner.

1. Ensure security best practices are followed in the DevOps processes, including code reviews and vulnerability assessments.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployment and infrastructure, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability.
3. Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce latency.
4. Develop and maintain documentation for DevOps processes, ensuring clarity and consistency for all team members.
5. Provide training and support to development teams on DevOps tools and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps practices with business goals and objectives.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve DevOps processes.
8. Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring that our applications are delivered quickly, reliably, and securely.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should have the following skills:

1. 8 to 10 years of experience with Devops CI/CD.
2. 6 plus years of experience with Github.
3. 6 to 10 years of experience with Datadog, Lowkey
4. 6 plus years of experience with Grafana.
