We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Psychology Instructor to join our educational team. In this role, you will deliver engaging, research-informed psychology instruction in the subject of Human Growth and Life Spam Development, inspire adult learners and foster critical thinking. Your expertise will help students understand complex psychological concepts, develop practical skills, and apply their knowledge in real-world settings. Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive psychology courses aligned with curriculum standards and learning objectives
2. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to create interactive online modules, assessments, and multimedia content
3. Incorporate research findings and current theories into lesson plans to ensure content remains relevant and evidence-based
4. Facilitate engaging classroom discussions and activities that promote active learning and student participation
5. Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects; provide constructive feedback to support growth
6. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development initiatives to improve instructional quality and integrate new teaching methodologies
7. Support students’ academic progress by offering guidance on research projects, writing assignments, and career pathways in psychology
8. Stay updated on advancements in learning technology, social work practices, and higher education teaching strategies to continuously enhance instructional effectiveness

Experience

1. Prior university or higher education teaching experience in psychology or related fields is highly preferred
2. Experience working with diverse adult learners in online or hybrid learning environments using LMS platforms like Canvas.
3. Experience in delivering online remote instruction.
4. Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly through writing skills and effective classroom presentation techniques
5. Knowledge of library services, social work principles, adult language education, creative writing, and classroom experience will be considered advantageous
