POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the District Manager, the incumbent will manage all aspects of daily operations and activities within the regional shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Manages various departments within the shop to ensure all jobs are produced and delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers.
  • Monitors jobs in production and communicates with production and graphics specialists regarding special jobs, proofs, and shipping info.
  • Contacts clients for clarification regarding specifications and/or questions of job submitted.
  • Executes business objectives, strategies, and tactics for the shop's production units as outlined in ABC Imaging's standard operating procedures and operations plan.
  • Develops and implements training programs for all shop team members to improve unit operations and the customer experience.
  • Oversees shop employee scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels are consistently met.
  • Maintains employee turnover within acceptable limits, ensures that performance appraisals and merit increases (if applicable) are given as scheduled.
  • Oversees maintenance of interior and exterior appearance of the shop.
  • Ensures that all shop production equipment is being properly maintained and upgraded. Recommends new acquisitions that will increases productivity.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years relevant experience preferred.
  • Superior customer service ability and experience in partnering with customers both in person and over the phone.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without losing focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees when delegating work and explaining procedures and processes.
  • Ability to speak knowledgeably about shop capability and company to potential and existing clients.
  • Highly developed organizational ability
