Job Description:
Do you enjoy working with your hands and ensuring things are working properly? Kum & Go is hiring a Preventative Maintenance Technician to support our stores spanning from Omaha, NE to Sioux City, IA. This is a great mid to entry-level role for someone looking to work in the maintenance or facilities technician field. Technical skills needed can be taught to those with the desire to provide excellent customer service in this line of work.

 

What You’ll Do

 

  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to assigned store locations including fuel dispenser hardware and filters, fuel tank components, monthly EPA tank compliance checks, and refrigeration coil cleanings
  • Provide troubleshooting and necessary minor repairs
  • Responsible for special project work such as transporting equipment from site to site, record keeping, and material replenishment
  • Respond to the needs and requests of clients and Kum & Go staff in a friendly and professional manner
  • Test new, internally performed initiatives such as high level dusting, power washing, and lot striping
  • Maintain company vehicle in excellent shape
  • Build positive relationships and partner with the Operations team
