We are currently seeking a passionate individual with daycare or preschool experience to join our team as a Part time Preschool Education Director.

As a Preschool Education Director at The Learning Experience, You Will:
 

  • Lead by example, displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees. Create an environment of trust, rapport, and inclusivity, easily connecting with diverse groups of people.
  • Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
  • Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
  • Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning. Take advantage of our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, creating a fun and enriching learning experience at TLE.
  • Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations. Manage accounts receivable and payable, generate monthly P&L reports, and oversee employee payroll.
  • Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program. Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.

  • Have a valid NYS Teaching Certificate (Birth-2)- Required
  • At least one year of preschool admin experience- Required
  • Possess the state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role-Required
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field-Required
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.

  • Job Duties:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Coach and mentor teaching team members in implementation of TLE Curriculum
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teachers and staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, share updates, and provide professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with parents and families to establish strong partnerships and ensure open lines of communication.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, and record keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and accreditation standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
