Job Description:

Work to create compelling multimedia products to train, educate, and engage demanding audiences. Manage multimedia projects from concept to completion, using industry standard tools and techniques to visualize data, engineering analysis, and advanced concepts.


Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Create, manage, and deliver high-quality multimedia content across various platforms, including video, audio, graphics, and interactive media using a combination of 2D, 3D, and video production skillsets.
  2. Maintains overall design and quality control of multimedia products produced in collaboration with team.
  3. Is a skilled master in graphical design, composition, presentation, animation, and audiovisual production: using the latest software and hardware standards available in the industry, as well as new/emerging tools.
  4. Collaborate with other marketing and communication team members to develop impactful content and shape multimedia strategy.
  5. Train and instruct personnel in new/emerging graphic, video, and animation creation, and audiovisual editing, mixing, and compression techniques.
  6. Foster innovation and creativity within the team, encouraging new ideas and approaches.
  7. Maintain an expert knowledge in the fields of graphics, video and animation formats, recording, and electronic transmission technologies.
  8. Continuously demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and critical internal/external customer relationships unsupervised. Demonstrate proficiency in leading other members to achieve the common goal of customer satisfaction.
  9. Demonstrate a mastery of a topic before they can train others. Members must be willing to share experience and criticism, as well as learn from each other.
  10. Effective communication in written, verbal, and visual forms.
  11. Perform multimedia equipment and software program research and recommend purchases.
  12. Properly bid services and products and use the appropriate guidelines.
  13. Is recognized as an external/internal thought leader within own strategic function; contributes thought leadership and innovation that influences change and advancement of the profession. Is knowledgeable regarding external best practices and seeks to adopt/adapt.
  14. Anticipates internal and/or external customer challenges, recommends process, product, service or solution improvements.
  15. Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
  16. Contributes to the development of functional and business strategy
  17. Leads and manages teams (within dept and cross-functionally), to achieve milestones and objectives.
  18. Receive direction and guidance from the Department/Division senior leader and translates that guidance into actionable tasks that can be performed by self or the project team.
  19. Leads large and significant projects/initiatives that impact the business on a company-wide scale.
  20. Mentors multimedia producers within your projects and help them to be successful.

Required Experience:

  1. Must present visual portfolio containing multiple examples of related work.
  2. Development and delivery of multiple projects utilizing a combination of multimedia workflows from start to finish
  3. Mastery of multiple multimedia software tools and workflows.
  4. Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal) and the workflows associated with integrating 3D assets, third party tools, lighting, material creation, and animation.
  5. Ability to work with unique engineering data to drive visual content in animation and/or game engine software
  6. Excellent storytelling and creative skills.
  7. Proven track record in managing large-scale multimedia projects on tight deadlines.
  8. Strong organizational and project management skills.
  9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  10. Ability to quickly adopt changing technologies and innovative industry tools to solve creative challenges for customers/projects.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree & 16+ Years of Experiene or a Master’s Degree & 14+ Years of Experience

Clearance:

  1. Ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
