What you’ll be doing...

 

As a Manager on the Agency Effectiveness team, you will have a unique opportunity to own enterprise-wide relationships internally and with marketing agencies.

  • Managing assigned portfolio of agencies including contract negotiations, contract execution, agency roster optimization, agency performance management, financial compliance and budget tracking, and general client/agency relationship health.
  • Owning large-scale Agency Effectiveness initiatives that span 3-6 months per year while continually developing process improvements that are innovative, transformative, lead to time efficiencies and/or financial savings.
  • Monitoring agency talent on our business by minimizing staffing gaps and tracking performance trends.
  • Collaborating with clients, Sourcing, and Legal teams to process and execute annual and incremental scopes of work; ensure our master service contracts are effectively updated to reflect industry changes in compensation terms, payment terms, and other contract terms.
  • Providing effective onboarding for new agencies to ensure they understand the Verizon strategy, brand ecosystem, and all other processes needed to execute business with Verizon.
  • Monitoring the industry for marketing trends, financial compensation structures, and new/emerging agencies that can improve our roster and overall agency output.
  • Supporting a team of seven by contributing operational support to teammates on their large-scale initiatives.
  • Utilizing technology to drive efficiencies from day-to-day communications, to shared files, to large-scale Agency Effectiveness processes.

Project Management & Reporting:

  • Providing regular management reporting on key initiatives, milestones, and performance.
  • Managing communication and operational alignment with marketing and agency clients.
  • Coordinating communication through a variety of reporting formats/vehicles including weekly/monthly management reports, agency communications, staff meetings, monthly reviews and operations reviews.
  • Developing executive agendas, communication and meeting materials.
  • Managing project team communication and engagement including Director staff meetings and other off sites.
  • Creating work plans for specific initiatives and work cross functionally with the appropriate team members and client groups in marketing.
  • Monitoring and report on progress toward program objectives. Problem solve and escalate where needed to minimize risks and achieve plan goals.
  • Owning relationships with agencies and manage the timely delivery of scopes of work, QBRs, performance reporting, and overall relationship health.
  • Assisting Verizon marketing with non-Agency partner contracts using project management skills to meet defined deadlines and internal SLA.

Where you'll be working...

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

 

 

What we’re looking for...

 

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in Account Management, and/or Operations/Program/Project Management.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Agency experience and interaction. In particular, experience with new business.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems positively and professionally.
  • Ability to establish plans, monitor and report on program/project status.
  • Abilityto clearly and regularly communicate status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Meeting coordination and logistic skills.
  • Ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans.
  • Ability to exercise considerable judgment in developing methods, techniques & evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Knowledge in creating presentation materials for executive review.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability ofworking up and across the organization – working with executive staff within and across the organization.
  • Experience handling extremely confidential information appropriately.
  • Knowledge with MS Office suite.

For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.

If you are hired into a New York work location, the compensation range for this position is between $114,000 and $212,000based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience.  This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
