Job Overview

The Manager, Account Management will focus on the Circa product line and will be responsible for leading a team of 8-10 Account Managers to retain an existing customer portfolio by ensuring renewal success and retention, as well as grow revenue through upsell and cross sell activities. In this critical role, you will also manage projects across multiple stakeholders to improve processes and help implement innovative solutions.

 

 

About You

You're a strong leader, communicator, listener, and problem solver who can connect business strategy to team goal achievement. You are assertive and display high emotional intelligence, resourcefulness, and diplomacy, can simplify complex ideas, and you drive others to act. You're tech savvy, collaborative, and willing to go the extra mile for your team and customers and you are good at developing strong relationships. You adapt well in a fast-paced environment, you're highly self-motivated, and able to adopt new concepts, tools and processes quickly and explain them to others.

You either have a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional work experience, plus 5 or more years of experience in B2B account management. You've probably experienced a high workload in the past, as well as had exposure to leading from within your team. You may have also formally managed, mentored or coached other team members to help them succeed.

 

 

About the Position

You will lead and drive success within your team to support organizational goals. You'll keep in regular contact with each Account Manager, supporting them with their assigned books of business and helping develop their skills and professional development.

Day in the Life

Most days will involve:

  • Managing and supporting the Account Management team to achieve results within their assigned accounts, including renewal strategy and execution, as well as driving professional growth
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with members of other Circa departments for professional and timely delivery of expectations:
  • Meeting with Account Managers for 1:1s and following up on progress toward closing renewals on time or early
  • Assisting in growth and process improvement projects

Additional activities may include:

  • Traveling to and attending quarterly onsite sales trainings or other in-person meetings
  • Drive new ideas and improvements to help the account management team develop best practices, efficiencies and to improve the customer experience and retention
  • Develop and execute on training plans including but not limited to new hire onboarding, reinforcement of Launch priorities and other projects as assigned
