Job Description:

Strategic Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales) - DevOps


Location: Remote in the United States | Must be located in Pacific Time or Mountain Time

Travel: Need to be open to it, could ramp up to around 50% in the future

Employees: 2,000 | Industry: B2B, SaaS, DevOps | Reports To: Director of Solutions Architecture


Responsibilities:

  1. Helping customers and prospects understand the value of the platform and products – from a business and technical perspective
  2. Partnering with AEs to create account strategies and build long-term relationships within enterprise accounts (Fortune 500)
  3. Building relationship with C-level and Vice President stakeholders, serving as a trusted technical point of contact within the organization
  4. Creating + participating in product demos and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) as needed to close deals
  5. Partnering with AEs to break into new accounts and expand existing accounts, uncovering opportunities through discovery conversations and relationship building
  6. Learning customer environments, understanding their use cases, and keeping up to date with modern trends related to DevOps, DevSecOps, MLOps, IoT, and more
  7. Providing feedback to internal product teams to help shape the product roadmap and features
  8. Creating unique cloud and software solutions + architecture to influence decision makers and win new business


Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in enterprise pre-sales solutions engineering and architecture
  2. Strategic business acumen, able to uncover new opportunities and identify customer pain points
  3. Experience partnering with AEs as a member of a sales organization, exceeding revenue quotas
  4. Extensive customer-facing experience in enterprise software/SaaS companies and startups
  5. Expert knowledge in software delivery processes, DevOps, cybersecurity, CI/CD, Linux
  6. Experience with one or more public cloud infrastructures – AWS, GCP, Azure
  7. Experience with on-premise and cloud software (SaaS) products
  8. Strong background in software architecture, cloud architecture, and application security
  9. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Git, Maven, Gradle, npm, Jenkins, Artifactory,


Compensation:

  1. $195K - $210K + Commission, Bonuses, and RSUs
