Job Title : Snowflake Practice Head/ Solution Architect

Location : Remote (US)

Responsibilities :

1. Lead and Architect migration of data analytics environment from Teradata to Snowflake with performance and reliability.
2. Assess and understand the ETL jobs, workflows, BI tools and reports
3. Must have experience at least two end to end implementation of Snowflake cloud data warehouse
4. Based on the findings from the assessment, define a high-level roadmap for migration to Snowflake on Azure along with a future state reference architecture on Azure cloud
5. Responsible for end-to-end data analytics design and architecture for Snowflake in Azure.
6. Leveraging Snowflake utilities, Snow SQL, Snow Pipe, and Big Data modeling techniques using Python.
7. Improve existing data pipelines in cloud for data transformation and aggregation.
8. Address a majority of technical inquiries concerning customization, integration, enterprise architecture and general feature / functionality of Snowflake
9. Setup, configure and deploy Snowflake
10. Guide the team to handle configurations for multiple departments / groups within single environment stack.
11. Lead data analytics team for implementing the standard methodologies.
12. Enable partners to make key decisions with accurate data analysis, reports and presentations of key findings.
13. Snowflake Solution Architect with expertise in Design, and Implementation of highly scalable, highly available, Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) services and solutions.
14. Proven Experience in crafting Database / Data warehouse solutions in cloud (Preferably Azure. Alternatively, AWS, GCP).
15. Leveraging advanced concepts like setting up resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, query performance tuning, zero copy clone, time travel, and understanding how to use these features
16. Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management

Requirements :

1. 12+ years of success in consultative/complex deployment project, architecture, design, implementation and/or support of data and analytics solutions
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field
3. Hands on experience in consultative/sophisticated deployment project, architecture, design, implementation and/or support of data and analytics solutions
4. Complex implementations of Snowflake Data Warehouse
5. Hands on development Design and Develop applications using Snowflake
6. In depth understanding of Snowflake Architecture including Snow SQL, Performance tuning, Compute and Storage
7. Experience in creating tables, partitioning, bucketing, loading and aggregating data using Snowflake
8. Experience in handling various client relationships to get consensus on solutions
