Blue Door Living currently has one main office in Manchester, NH.

The Maintenance Manager Position: Blue Door Living is looking for a full-time maintenance manager with a convenient 40 hour work week, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day. The maintenance manager will have a dynamic role that includes managing maintenance technicians, assigning work orders, coordinating service between maintenance technicians and tenants, communicating with vendors to coordinate service, walking vacant units to create renovation plans, making purchases, writing contracts, managing inventory, communicating with our clients, and occasionally doing maintenance tasks as needed.

The maintenance technicians you will be managing are responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks requiring general handyman skills including basic plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, painting and drywall. Some cleaning and other miscellaneous maintenance tasks will also be required. The maintenance manager's knowledge in these various areas is essential as they will be the first support to technicians in the field. Every third week, you must also be available outside regular work hours to respond to emergency maintenance calls which earn you additional compensation. Training can be provided to the right candidate and applicants who have their own tools are preferred.

Maintenance Manager Benefits and Pay: The maintenance Manager will earn a base pay between $25 and $30 per hour depending on your experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, 10 paid vacation days, 5 paid sick days and 8 paid holidays annually.

Required qualifications:

  • Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience working with Gsuite, managing work orders, managing invoices.
  • Submit to a background check.
  • Personal transportation to and from job sites and the main office.
  • Pass a drug test upon request.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience doing residential maintenance work.
  • Experience doing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
  • Owning tools for maintenance work.
  • Experience working in a 3rd-party property management company.
  • Experience using Appfolio Property Management Software.

The Location: All of Blue Door Living’s properties are currently located in Southern NH. Employees are expected to provide their own transportation to and from job sites.
