We're looking for an Senior Web Developer with deep experience in Sanity (CMS) and Next.js to build, maintain, and scale high-performing web platforms across a portfolio of sites for an established, uber successful private investment portfolio company.

This is a hands-on, full-stack role for someone who enjoys owning systems end to end – from CMS architecture and front-end performance to backend services, integrations, and infrastructure. You’ll partner closely with Marketing, Product, Growth, and Engineering teams to ship fast, reliable, and scalable experiences.

What You’ll Do

  1. Build and maintain modern web applications using Next.js and Sanity as the core stack.
  2. Architect and extend CMS schemas, content models, and workflows in Sanity.
  3. Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations supporting web and marketing experiences.
  4. Own DNS management, hosting environments, and deployment workflows.
  5. Leverage AI tools and services to improve development workflows and ship intelligent features (e.g., content generation, personalization, automation, experimentation).
  6. Implement tracking, attribution, and growth tooling (e.g., UTM structures, analytics events, tag management).
  7. Create dynamic, data-driven web experiences using JavaScript and server-side logic.
  8. Support email development needs, including HTML email builds and integrations with marketing platforms.
  9. Implement animations and interactive elements, including Lottie and other modern animation techniques.
  10. Ensure performance, security, accessibility, and SEO best practices across sites.
  11. Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, marketers, and product teams across IRG companies.


What We’re Looking For

  1. 5–8+ years of professional web development experience.
  2. Deep, hands-on experience with Next.js and Sanity.
  3. Strong backend development experience (Node.js, APIs, databases, integrations).
  4. Comfort managing infrastructure basics: DNS, hosting, environments, and deployments.
  5. Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills.
  6. Experience implementing analytics, UTMs, and marketing technology integrations.
  7. Demonstrated experience using or integrating AI tools, APIs, or workflows in production or daily development.
  8. Familiarity with HTML email development and email platform constraints.
  9. Ability to build scalable, maintainable systems across multiple brands and use cases.
  10. Strong communication skills and comfort working in a cross-functional environment.


Bonus Points For

  1. Experience with Lottie, motion design, or advanced web animations.
  2. Familiarity with prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or AI-driven personalization.
  3. Experience in regulated industries (insurance, fintech, healthcare, etc.).
  4. Familiarity with edge functions, serverless architecture, or headless commerce.
  5. Experience supporting multi-brand or portfolio environments.
  6. Prior work in a venture studio, startup, or fast-scaling company.
