PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes a structured project management approach to collaboratively define and oversee complex business challenges from inception through solution development, sustaining outcomes, and transition to operational management.
- Conducts thorough work breakdown analyses to appropriately scope activities, encompassing task assessments, process mapping, and evaluation of environmental factors at the frontline. Synthesizes findings to identify resource gaps, organizational challenges, barriers, best practices, and benchmarks for integration into project planning.
- Develops and executes project schedules to establish a baseline of current conditions, devise and implement project management strategies, measure quantifiable improvements, and deliver anticipated outcomes. Executes comprehensive project close-out and sustainability processes to capture insights and organizational impacts.
- Establishes a robust project foundation by collaborating with sponsors and team members on scoping and planning documents, including project charters, statements of work, project plans, team structures, and work breakdown structures.
- Integrates effective change management strategies into project plans based on detailed stakeholder and organizational assessments. Applies industry-leading change management methodologies and tools.
- Proactively identifies and communicates risks and obstacles, manages transitions to new processes, communicates results, and celebrates achievements. Utilizes risk management tools to detect, mitigate, manage, and resolve critical project risks.
- Demonstrates adeptness in ambiguous situations, synthesizing clarity and providing direction with minimal guidance. Applies continuous improvement principles and promotes performance enhancement activities and training as beneficial to stakeholders.
- Cultivates trustworthy, collaborative relationships and influences with project sponsors, process owners, and frontline staff. Establishes regular communication rhythms with stakeholders regarding project progress, next steps, risks, and deliverable statuses.
- Develops and leverages influential relationships across all organizational levels to drive change initiatives. Effectively influences others by understanding their perspectives, recognizing business needs, and presenting evidence-based rationales for change.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Public Administration, or related field required.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Work Experience:
- 3-4 years of progressive project management, consulting, performance improvement, or relevant professional experience required.
- Experience leading impactful initiatives in complex integrated delivery networks or other relevant sectors preferred. Demonstrated track record of results and achievements in relevant areas.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies.
- Preferred certifications: Project Management Certification, Lean, Six Sigma Certification/Training.
