The goal of these events is to generate awareness of and consideration for Yelp’s restaurant management solutions, Yelp Guest Manager, Kiosk, Connect, Upgrade Package and Yelp Ads.

We’d love to have you apply, even if you don’t feel you meet every single requirement in this posting. At Yelp, we’re looking for great people, not just those who simply check off all the boxes.

This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

Where You Come In:
You have goals to drive in-person senior executive engagement from local popular independent restaurants and leading national restaurant chains.
You want to deliver revenue impact via the Restaurants team.
You will adapt the existing events playbook to support Yelp’s Restaurants team and lead the entire event process (from concept to execution). You’ll execute and support numerous events including (but not limited to):
You will plan events with senior executives, such as the Super Bowl or Ryder Cup. You’ll design an unforgettable experience, manage logistics, curate the guest list, and ensure all runs smoothly.
You will plan regional dinners, conference events, sporting events, and networking happy hours with executives from Yelp’s strategic restaurant clients. You’ll own executing these events including (but not limited to) booking venues, managing invite lists, and generating overall excitement within the Restaurants sales org.
You will use multimedia technology to assist in the design, development, and implementation of online trainings and webinars, face-to-face (F2F) meetings, and industry trade show booths.
You will work with the marketing team to manage and promote participation in a wide variety of communications and promotional activities, including but not limited to email marketing, webinar management, paid media, and organic social media channels.
National Restaurants sales reps host their clients at in-person events that vary in size. You’ll work with these account teams to plan targeted, strategic events for top individual accounts.
We’re constantly testing new event concepts to learn what will drive the most meaningful connections between Yelp and our clients. You will test new event ideas, evaluate, and scale what’s working.
In addition to executing flawless events, you will identify, track and maintain key event metrics to produce event reports, track progress and problem areas.
You will be client-facing and own the invite process for your events. You will work with our Restaurants Sales team to determine target invite lists for events and design clear, concise email communications to drive RSVPs.
You will effectively manage vendors and those who will support you to execute successful events.

What it Takes to Succeed:
You are a self starter. You know what it takes to get the job done and can self-motivate to achieve your goals.
You have strong attention to detail. You dot every 'i' and cross every 't'. You account for every variable and never let anything slip.
You have the ability to see around corners. You anticipate every possible problem and are prepared with a back-up plan.
You have virtual event planning and preparation, scheduling, and strong project management skills.
You can be technical support with virtual events and troubleshooting any issues.
You can prepare and present event budgets, written reports, insights and analysis.
You are uber organized. You’re able to juggle multiple deadlines and multiple events and are a master at Google Calendar and Google Drive.
