Since 2002 our service lines have expanded to include Information Technology, Staffing, Marketing, Human Resources and Engineering/Construction. We recruit nationally and locally for both permanent and project-based positions, primarily in the North Florida market. We are seeking a talented individual to join our Accounting & Finance team as an Executive Recruiter.
The Opportunity
As an Executive Recruiter in our Accounting & Finance team you will initially focus on candidate sourcing and development, working directly with a VP of Client Service in our A&F Team. You will learn about our clients, the various roles we recruit for, and gain knowledge of the market. As you progress you will be able to counsel candidates and match them to career opportunities that benefit the candidate and the client. Positions in our A&F group range from Senior Accountant to Chief Financial Officer as well as project-based roles. As your career progresses you have multiple avenues for advancement. You can choose to continue to recruit full-time while working on higher level roles, move into a business development role, or a hybrid role. You also have the option of moving into one of our other service lines, or creating a new service line within our firm. There is no limit on the timing of your advancement or the level of advancement.
You will have the option of working remotely, in the office, or any combination thereof. We are located in downtown Jacksonville, in the VyStar building. For those of us who are available to do so, we meet in the office every Wednesday and take turns selecting a restaurant location for lunch. It allows the divisions to interact and collaborate with each other in-person. Every nine months we attend a conference, as part of our involvement with the American Association of Accounting & Finance (AAFA). This is a group of 40 firms similar to ICX Group, across the U.S. and Canada. We are hosting the next conference in the spring of 2022. This is a great opportunity to meet and network with individuals from our partner firms. You also have the opportunity to work on jobs in other cities through our AAFA partners, including our ICX office in Los Angeles.

Job Responsibilities:
Actively recruit passive candidates via LinkedIn, internal ATS (Applicant Tracking System), and other social media tools. Source existing candidate pool and network.Conduct candidate interviews in our offices or remotely.Screen and qualify the existing candidate pool for job orders by listening intently and asking effective questions.Partner with external hiring managers/clients to identify qualified candidates for direct hire and project-based job orders and work with a sense of urgency.Meet or exceed monthly and annual targets set by the managerWe are looking for someone who enjoys meeting people and talking on the phone
Ideal Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required; Accounting/Finance/Business majors preferred but also open to other majorsA track record of success in the Big 4, accounting/finance, sales/customer-service, or recruiting.Self-confidence, perseverance and a high sense of urgency.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Years of experience can vary

Those who understand accounting and finance have less of a learning curve than those who have to get up to speed with respect to understanding the roles they are recruiting for.
