The Opportunity:

We are seeking a talented, hands-on Business Operations Manager to join our team at our headquarters in Denver, CO and provide support for our customers and our field teams of treatment technicians. You will work closely with our founder and executive team to manage day-to-day operations, build and streamline existing business processes, and help to grow the business.

You are an organized, resourceful self-starter, comfortable working in an office environment as well as out in the field, and excited by the opportunity to join a fast-growing startup focused at the intersection of water reuse and energy. You are versatile and enjoy adapting to where your expertise is needed. You have a high attention to detail. You care about your community and the environment. In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day activities, including planning, scheduling, and issue troubleshooting.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets and closely monitor project-level expenditures and invoice processing.
  • Identify project risks and solutions and communicate them to the leadership team in a timely manner.
  • Identify, develop, and implement business process improvements.

· Facilitate and cascade internal and external stakeholder communications regarding key decisions, information, and progress.

· Conduct site visits to oil wells as needed to coordinate activities and ensure progress by onsite teams.

· Lead special projects identified by PWR leadership (e.g., related to R&D, new product development, brand positioning, new business development).

· Represent PWR’s leadership team in external meetings as requested.

We are looking for someone with:

· Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably with experience in the oil and gas / energy sector

· Familiarity with safety practices in operational environments

· Experience in a startup environment a plus

· Self-starter with strong organizational and problem-solving skills – a history and track record of finding ways to get things done

· Strong written communication skills, clear and persuasive speaker with the ability to connect with everyone from an hourly oilfield worker to a C-level executive.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

· Willingness and ability to travel onsite to project sites

· Ability to safely lift at least 30 pounds

· Proudly owns a pair of work boots

· Brand / marketing experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
