Role: Employee Communications Specialist (Part Time)

Location: Remote – PST

Timing: Mon.-Fri. 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST

Duration: 6+ Months + Potential extension


3 Must Haves:

  1. Technical writing.
  2. Project/program management.
  3. Technical fluency with electronic newsletters.


Min Edu: Bachelors


Experience Level:

  1. 3-5 years Designs and coordinates company communications.
  2. Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures, monitoring company media, and utilizing electronic publishing technology.
  3. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  4. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  5. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  6. Works under immediate supervision.
  7. Writes, edits, reviews and oversees release of internal communication documents and programs that support and drive strategic business objectives.
  8. Write and edit internal communication materials to increase employee engagement and leadership effectiveness.
  9. Work closely with leaders to develop and manage communication plans.
  10. Develop strategy for management to communicate goals throughout the organization to motivate employees to own business results.
  11. Write and edit leadership messages.
  12. Position messages and provide coaching to managers to maximize effectiveness of communications.
  13. Coach leaders to become listeners in order to better understand their organizations.
  14. Use tools such as surveys, customer feedback, etc., to gather information and determine overall results and themes.
  15. Typically reports to a supervisor.
