Job Duties:
Lead and manage cross-functional teams of DevSecOps and cloud engineers, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure and deployment pipelines across Azure and AWS.
Drive modernization initiatives by leveraging Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automated CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and container-based architectures. Embed security throughout the software development lifecycle while accelerating AI adoption to enhance delivery speed and operational insights.
Mentor and develop engineering talent by setting clear objectives, managing timelines, conducting performance evaluations, and cultivating a high-performing, inclusive culture.
Define and own the DevSecOps roadmap, aligning it with business goals, cloud transformation strategies, and AI-driven capabilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain resilient cloud solutions that evolve with business needs while continuously improving existing systems.
Provide hands-on technical leadership to develop secure CI/CD pipelines and manage multi-cloud environments across Azure and AWS.
Architect and manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS, incorporating automated scaling, policy enforcement, and security scanning.
Establish and enhance SRE practices, including monitoring, incident response, and performance metrics, to meet service level objectives and compliance standards.
Promote the adoption of AI/ML for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, generative code insights, and infrastructure optimization.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory changes, sharing knowledge through documentation, internal sessions, and team collaboration.
Ensure all documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing processes are continuously updated to support operational excellence and audit readiness.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in building and managing infrastructure across multiple AWS environments, including software configuration management.
Proven experience guiding and mentoring junior engineers and developers.
Minimum 3 years of experience in software delivery, cloud engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise cloud environments, including design and administration of AWS services.
Strong expertise in Terraform (HCL), Azure DevOps pipelines, and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
Experience with version control systems like Git and container technologies such as Docker.
Proficiency in orchestration tools like Kubernetes, AKS, ECS, or EKS, along with familiarity with AIOps platforms.
Experience integrating security into CI/CD processes.
Location:
Headquartered in Carlsbad, California.
