The Circuit Court of Huntington County is Currently Recruiting a Full-Time Court Administrator
This position is responsible for all administrative duties of the circuit court including managing multiple budgets, tracking and paying claims, managing and coordinating calendars, and keeping financial and other records. This position is also responsible for recording court proceedings, maintaining order and security of courtroom, and completing required paperwork.
Candidates must have a working knowledge of court proceedings, legal terminology, and computer programs (including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook), and the ability to apply such knowledge to a variety of interrelated processes, tasks, and operations.
Successful candidates must have a HS Diploma/GED with five to ten years of experience in a legal office or court room preferred. Candidates must have the ability to type with speed and accuracy, operate standard office equipment, and have good customer service skills for interaction with the public and attorneys.
This position may work extended hours as needed.
