Global Strategic Communications and Advisory firm seeks to hire several Database and Research temps for a two-month contract position with flexibility to extend. This role will be based in the company's NYC headquarters in Midtown Manhattan. Once the formal training regimen is completed your main responsibilities will include: updating & enhancing a database of event audience and speaker contacts including companies, titles, mailing and email addresses, and other relevant contact details. Additionally, this role will require heavy external research including a keen awareness of global issues, international innovation, and the key stakeholders. You'll work with project teams to develop innovative communities of global influencers to the benefit of specific projects and the company as a whole. Research will be performed on individuals, corporations, foundations, and governments for prospect activity and to maintain the integrity of their data. Daily administrative tasks will include updating contacts and maintaining information for accuracy and consistency. Our client is considering candidates with the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 1 + years of related experience, fluency in English with knowledge of other languages a plus, knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce) a plus, knowledge and interest in emerging market economies and international affairs a plus, excellent research and writing skills, exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask and attention to detail is required, dynamic personality that can quickly adapt to changing priorities, proficiency with MS Office a must, and the ability to thrive in a entrepreneurial and fast paced work environment. Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch. Hourly pay rate is up to $20hr dependent on experience.
