Are you a natural relationship builder with a passion for creativity, self-expression, and community? The Body Art Alliance (BAA)—home to the industry’s most innovative tattoo, PMU, and body jewelry brands—is hiring a Community Growth Manager to drive direct-to-artist sales through authentic engagement and strategic activation. This role merges community outreach with hands-on sales execution to scale brand presence and revenue.

As the critical bridge between sales and marketing, you'll deliver field-driven strategies that deepen our connection to artists while meeting and exceeding sales goals. This isn’t just about being part of the body art movement—it’s about fueling its growth.

Key Responsibilities


Lead Field Sales & Community Activation

  1. Identify and engage prospective clients (tattoo studios, PMU artists, piercing professionals)
  2. Drive direct-to-artist sales with clear monthly/quarterly targets
  3. Own and grow a defined sales territory

In-Person Engagement

  1. Conduct product demonstrations and educational sessions in-studio
  2. Host and support branded community events, workshops, and industry gatherings

Sales Strategy Execution

  1. Collaborate with marketing to execute campaigns that convert leads into customers
  2. Generate and manage sales pipelines using CRM tools
  3. Provide feedback from the field to refine product offerings and sales approaches

Brand Advocacy & Education

  1. Educate artists and shop owners on the benefits and features of BAA products
  2. Support distributors and partners to maximize reach and influence

What We're Looking For

Sales-First Mindset with a Creative Edge

  1. Experience in field sales, account management, or B2B/B2C sales, ideally in lifestyle, beauty, or creative industries preferred, but not required
  2. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales quotas and managing a territory
  3. Comfortable with KPIs, pipelines, and conversion metrics
  4. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

Cultural & Community Alignment

  1. Passion for the art and culture of tattoo, PMU, and body jewelry
  2. Ability to connect authentically with artists and creative professionals
  3. Entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude with strong time management skills
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills
  5. Willingness to travel locally and regionally (some overnight travel required)
