Job Description:

Cintas is seeking a Business Process Trainee to participate in an extensive, well-structured 12-month training program designed to provide a strong knowledge of all aspects of the business through the Value Improvement Initiatives organization with hands-on learning and project-based experiences. The program combines a series of rotations in various departments and classroom seminars, with the purpose of preparing you for a permanent role in the area that maximizes your strengths and career advancement potential.

Rotations Descriptions:

  • Service/Operations Rotation: Direct interaction with customers on route will enhance your sales, communication, and customer service skills. Plus, this hands-on field experience also gives you the opportunity to work with all partners to explore Cintas from the ground floor.
  • Process Improvement Rotation: You get an understanding of the four pillars of process improvement and how we solve problems with the whole brain thinking approach. You will get to work on some of the largest initiatives going on in the company and see how to methodically move them through the DMAIC process.
  • Shared Services/COE Rotation: Learn the various parts of the shared service model and Center of Excellence teams. You will learn about the technology and support systems that are used to run the business and be involved in discussions to enhance the partner and customer experience with those systems.
  • Analytics Rotation: We have numerous systems and data being collected and analyzed by our Analytics teams. You will learn about these systems and the various tools used to analyze the data. A key skill will be to learn how to make data-driven decisions and recommendations for executives as part of the rotation.
  • Classroom Seminars: Throughout your program, you will have the opportunity to attend numerous professional development courses to improve your overall business acumen and your personal brand. Courses may include (but are not limited to): Six Sigma Green Belt, Core Course, and Emotional Intelligence

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • Must have, or will obtain, a Bachelor's degree within six months
  • Must have an active driver's license.

 


Preferred

  • Co-op or internship experience in a Customer Service, Sales, Production or Administrative role
  • A business or otherwise related academic major
  • A leadership/management role on campus or related extracurricular activities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Analytical/project management skills
  • Technical expertise
