Job Description:

This position has a full salary range of $102,250 - $159,850 per year with eligibility for an annual bonus. Starting salary is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, experience and performance.


This role is fully remote anywhere in the U.S.

Summary:

Dirty Hands Brokerage provides brands with customized sales and distribution management aimed to accelerate strategic growth within the Natural and Organic retail space. The Dirty Hands Brokerage Associate Director of Brand Strategy role is responsible for driving growth of brands by creating customized go to market strategies that drive volume and velocity. Within this role, the candidate will create and oversee tools to proactively manage brand development and execution, and leveraging analytics and data to support product presentation, while working hand-in-hand with the sales team.

Ideal candidates will have existing relationships with assigned natural, specialty and grocery retailers as well as an intimate working knowledge of UNFI, Kehe, DPI and other regionally based distribution companies. Successful candidates will be analytical, organized, and proactive communicators. This role will cover both East and West regions depending on brand assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the single point of contact for assigned brands’ regions contracted for and teams operating within that region(s).
  • Work with clients to develop and execute annual sales objectives to achieve topline goals.
  • provide insight and organized strategic mapping to the sales team specific to each client.
  • Help brands develop annual sales plans and guide team to implement them with distributors.
  • Develop distributor strategies for our clients including gaining needed commitments, setting up distribution, growing ACV, executing promotions and related distributor events.
    • Relationship owner with distributor, including regional distributors SRM and Category Managers for brands introduction, management and promotional planning.
  • Develop and implement needed processes to make the business more efficient.
  • Step in when necessary to help Sales Representatives achieve the team goals.
  • Assist in the development of category review materials based on reporting/spins data.
  • Provide consistent direction to the team and address any open issues.
  • Utilize industry network to recruit new clients to the business.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience working for a brand, merchandiser, national broker or CPG with experience and existing relationships in the conventional and natural channels.
  • Project Management- Experience leading projects or ability to manage projects for many brands at the same time.
  • Relationship Builder- Ability to manage the relationships of 10-15 brands.
  • Influencer- Leads through influence, motivates, inspires and develops our Sales Representatives to deliver best in class experience for our clients.
  • Goal Oriented- Results driven with a drive to exceed expectations annual sales objectives.
  • Multitasker- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities while delivering results.
  • Organizer- Exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Communicator- Excellent verbal and written communication with people at all organizational levels especially doing so from a distance.
  • Excellent customer service, presentation, and active listening skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Computer skills including MS Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel PowerPoint.
