What will you work on?


The Assistant Brand Manager, Outdoors is responsible for assisting the Brand Manager with product development and marketing for the Spin Master Outdoors portfolio. You work cross-functionally with Product Development, Design and Packaging to deliver best in class products.

 

How will you create impact?

  • Prepare new product-start documents, product costing and turn over transmittals, packaging and design briefs
  • Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies and implement plans on new and existing brands in conjunction with Brand Manager
  • Support all marketing activities including (but not limited to) digital media, TV and video production, social media, eCommerce, packaging, branding, public relations, and trade shows
  • Assist in research and analysis for the business unit including pricing, costing, profitability analysis, digital marketing analysis, competitive analysis, and sales analysis
  • Support Brand Manager with Licensing team with organization and tracking of all licensed projects
  • Conduct category and consumer research
  • Present new product launches to internal sales team and retailer partners


What are your skills and experience?

  • 1-3 years of consumer product brand management experience in a new product-oriented industry, preferably working with toy, entertainment, fashion, electronics, or other pop culture products
  • Strong knowledge of PCs and software including: MS Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point

 

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York City is $65,000 to $75,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required
industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
