Position Summary
We are hiring a Web Developer to lead technical website initiatives from concept through launch. In this role, you will support key business objectives such as increasing enrollment and improving student retention by building and maintaining high-performing digital experiences.
You’ll focus heavily on developing, optimizing, and supporting mission-critical front-end websites. This includes introducing innovative user experiences while establishing reliable systems to maintain and update essential content.
Success in this role requires attention to detail, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable offering ideas, receiving feedback, and executing independently with precision. This is a full-time, remote position.
Job Duties
Serve internal and external stakeholders with integrity, humility, and a positive attitude while balancing task execution and relationship-building;
Actively participate in company events, meetings, and activities with enthusiasm and professionalism;
Lead the technical direction of web development and digital initiatives, delivering innovative and effective solutions;
Ensure all websites meet modern SEO standards, load quickly, function seamlessly on mobile devices, and comply with accessibility regulations and industry guidelines;
Manage CMS platforms, including troubleshooting issues, performing updates, and training users on best practices;
Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to improve conversion rates and reduce cost per lead;
Collaborate with marketing and enrollment teams to align landing pages with campaign intent, keywords, and user expectations;
Monitor site performance to identify speed issues, errors, or outages, and act as the primary point of contact for downtime incidents;
Maintain accuracy and consistency across search engine results and web properties;
Partner with external developers and vendors to deliver code solutions, implement enhancements, and support ongoing functionality improvements;
Contribute to server maintenance, plugin updates, and adherence to maintenance schedules;
Manage code repositories for SASS and CSS across platforms;
Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to understand user behavior and inform optimization strategies;
Ensure all web content meets brand standards and passes quality assurance processes before release;
Maintain WordPress environments, including updates, security, and performance optimization;
Stay informed on cybersecurity trends and implement necessary safeguards;
Apply UX and styling improvements across digital platforms;
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
At least five years of experience in web development management with a proven track record of successful website delivery;
Experience managing CMS enhancements, including requirements gathering, testing, and documentation;
Familiarity with development workflows from staging to production;
Ability to translate wireframes and feature requests into functional requirements;
Commitment to ongoing learning and adoption of new technologies;
Experience in UI/UX design;
Self-driven and effective in small team environments;
Experience with Mac OS and Google Workspace preferred;
Familiarity with tools such as Asana preferred;
Access to a professional, distraction-free remote workspace with reliable high-speed internet;
Ability to pass background checks as required.
