Big firms continue to get riskier in this macro world. The people that trust in them end up a tiny fish in a big pond. Roles become increasingly boxed-in — no longer playing to individual strengths. And massive org-wide changes that seemingly pop up overnight forever impact one’s job stability.

The best sellers are realizing that’s a losing equation.

At SQA Group, we’re doing the opposite. We’re remaining a niche consultancy by choice. Opting for smart, intentional growth versus risky rocket-ship moments. Building a high-trust, high-autonomy environment where true hunters can enjoy unlimited earning potential, access to a greenfield territory, the stability of a 30-year firm, and the chance to build a meaningful book of business across Data, AI, and Futures.

We help executives architect what comes next — equipping leaders to navigate the most critical shifts at the intersection of data and AI, business performance, decision intelligence, and innovation.

Our foundation is deep: partnering with technology leaders to solve complex modernization challenges. Now, we’re expanding our reach — bringing that same level of rigor and insight to business leaders shaping strategy, growth, and transformation.

We’re looking for a true Hunter — someone who doesn’t wait for demand, but creates it. Someone who knows how to engage senior business leaders, open doors that don’t yet exist, and turn ambiguity into opportunity.

You’ve built your career in high-stakes rooms where the answers aren’t obvious — sitting across from CEOs, strategy leaders, and operators, helping them wrestle with questions like:

  1. Are we optimizing a business model that won’t exist in 3 years?
  2. Where is AI truly transforming how we operate — vs. where are we just experimenting?
  3. How can we innovate the way in which data empowers our business?
  4. Are we scaling intelligently, or just adding complexity?
  5. What are we not seeing yet that will impact how we compete?

You open doors, earn trust, and turn ambiguity into opportunity. You understand how non-technical buyers think. They don’t buy capabilities; they buy clarity, partnership, and outcomes. And you’re at a point where you want more ownership, more influence, and the ability to build something meaningful.

The Role

This is a true hunter-builder role. You will represent SQA Group’s differentiated capabilities across Data & Advanced Analytics, AI & Automation, and Foresight & Innovation — bringing them to business leaders solving tomorrow’s problems today.

This isn’t a role where you inherit a book. You build it.

You will:

  1. Own a greenfield territory and build your book of business from the ground up
  2. Activate your network and create demand where it doesn’t yet exist
  3. Spend the majority of your time in-market — in conversations, in rooms, building relationships
  4. Shape opportunities from first conversation through close

You’ll operate as an individual contributor with real visibility and influence — working directly with executive leadership and playing a meaningful role in how we grow.

What You’ll Drive

  1. Lead with an insight-driven, consultative approach — positioning SQA Group in a way that reframes how clients think about their challenges
  2. Position SQA Group as a strategic partner for helping business leaders (CEO, CFO, COO, Chief Innovation Officer, etc.) navigate Future of Work transformation through the lens of data, technology, and innovation
  3. Build and maintain a high-velocity pipeline through outbound, events, executive roundtables, and referrals
  4. Partner closely with Solutions and Delivery teams to shape opportunities that drive real business impact
  5. Show up as a visible voice in the market — participating in the conversations where your buyers are shaping strategy
  6. Help establish the patterns, motions, and frameworks that will define how we scale

Who You Are

You built your career working in consulting or professional services. You might even be a former technology or business consultant who made the move into sales. You are the person who opens doors, builds trust, and can transform relationships into revenue.

  1. 10+ years in a quota-carrying role within consulting, professional services, or technology advisory
  2. A proven hunter — you open doors, build trust, and convert relationships into revenue
  3. Track record of sourcing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  4. Deep experience selling to business buyers, not relying on technical stakeholders to carry the deal
  5. Strong, active network of senior leaders who trust you and take your call
  6. Fluent in connecting data, AI, and innovation to real business outcomes
  7. Trained in structured sales methodologies (Challenger, MEDDIC, Miller-Heiman, GAP, or similar) — and you actually use them
  8. A visible voice in your market (content, speaking, community, or network-driven influence)
  9. Still hungry — you want to be in the work, not removed from it

What You’ll Get

  1. Direct access to and partnership with SQA Group’s executive leadership from day one
  2. A path to leadership as you build and scale your impact
  3. Competitive compensation (base, variable, and equity-aligned incentives)
  4. A high-recognition, performance-driven culture where strong work is visible and valued
  5. The opportunity to help shape how a 30-year consultancy enters its next era — with your name on it
