We are looking for an Entry Level Software Developer to contribute to our efforts to enhance and add features to our product library. You will contribute throughout the entire stack for development and be involved in coding, testing and debugging. You will participate with the team in creating dynamic and high performing code that uses some of the latest technology available.

Our product is an industry-specific solution that sits along side the Microsoft business software called Dynamics. We are constantly enhancing our solution and we also modify it to meet the unique needs of our clients. These modifications are done primarily with AL and JavaScript. We work extensively with rest-based APIs and are currently working on AI-based projects with Co-Pilot to help customers streamline every aspect of their transaction processing.

This is an entry level role so you don't have to have a lot of experience to be a good fit. You just need some foundation in development and be willing to learn. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other professionals to understand functional and non-functional requirements for new features and development
• Work on prioritized development tasks and develop according to the sprints
• Learn the technology that is part of our stack and develop expertise using it
• Execute testing and debugging in code
• Learn expertise with our IDE (VSC) and development tools and process issues using our code management system in JIRA
• Communicate successfully to development team and customer-facing team
• Oversee progress of development to ensure consistency with initial design
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility etc.
• Participate in build process and testing (both automated tests and manual user testing)
• This is a full-time in-office role in Lexington, KY

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
