Overview:

Who We Are Seeking

Left Field Labs is seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team. You will work alongside a group of dedicated and multi-disciplined technologists and designers to bring high quality solutions to market. We count on our developers to write elegant and well-documented code, with a strict eye towards separation of concerns and maintainability. Our developers are creatives, we expect an eye for design, collaboration on interactions, and understanding of overall user experience when building our software.

Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do

  1. Work with Tech Leads, designers and other developers to deliver robust, responsive and accessible front-ends, back-ends and APIs for a variety of web-based and native mobile applications
  2. Develop code that includes user interfaces, interactivity, multimedia, communication with APIs, and authentication using both web frameworks and vanilla Javascript
  3. Deploy and troubleshoot applications on static and dynamic runtime systems (eg, Netlify, App Engine, Cloud Functions)
  4. Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide work breakdown and estimates of work
  5. Collaborate with UX and UI designers to validate wireframes and high-resolution design comps
  6. Participate in code reviews for your own projects and those across the company
  7. Contribute to documentation on projects (such as Technical Design Documents) and for department knowledge sharing
  8. Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues around application errors, performance, and response times
  9. Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Compensation:

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $90,000-$130,000. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Culver City, California. This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Required Skills:

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  1. 3 years of professional experience with front-end utilizing with skills such as Typescript, HTML, CSS
  2. 3 years of professional experience with front-end frameworks (eg: React, Lit, Angular, or Vue.js)
  3. Minimum of at least 6 months of professional experience with SQL databases (eg MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  4. Professional experience working with Golang.
