Overview:

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
2. Must pass Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) / Medium-Risk federal agency security clearance.
3. Data is collected daily from multiple data sources with various data types.
4. The warehouse contains approximately 15 terabytes of data and collects approximately 30 - 40 gigabytes weekly.
5. The ideal candidate will support software development within a complex enterprise environment with ASP.net and VB.net, providing accelerated, accurate solution delivery across multiple simultaneous active projects.
6. 100% Remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and support the project's Web applications per the client’s request.
2. Comprehensive Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) understanding.
3. Write VB.Net code which is scalable, modularized and reusable.
4. Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain code and web pages created from scratch using VB.Net and various components of the .NET Framework.
5. Use Team Foundation Server (TFS) to track web development tasks.
6. Adhere to coding requirements and guidelines.
7. Use Alvaria Workforce Management (eWFM).
8. Participate in code and application peer reviews.
9. Gather and document business requirements as it relates to the web application.
10. Support the design, development, and deployment of a modernized website.
11. Actively participate in daily Kanban meetings.
12. Support the project team by identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues with the web application.
13. Use .NET Framework to create software solutions that meet the clients’ requirements.
14. Collaborate with SQL Developers, development team, and business analysts to ensure all business requirements are being met.
15. Conduct extensive application testing to ensure defect free products.
16. Prepare configuration documents, test plans and additional documentation as needed.

Skills Requirement:

1. 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio in an enterprise environment.
2. 10+ years of experience using .Net and or .Net Core (VB.Net preferred).
3. Knowledge of front-end components (HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, XML, etc.).
4. Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies.
5. Ability to conform to current processes and procedures.
6. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to figure out unknown issues.
7. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
8. Ability to follow directions to ensure clients goals are met.
9. Ability to adapt to new environments and assimilate information quickly.
10. Work independently and with a team on multiple tasks with multiple deadlines.
11. Knowledge of SQL Server or similar relational database a plus.
12. Knowledge of Classic ASP a plus.
13. Knowledge of Business Intelligence Software a plus.

Compensation: $100,000 - 120,000 annually
