Join our team at Körber! As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of an international cross-functional development team. You will play a critical role in producing and delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable products.

Your role on our team

• Mastery knowledge of the team’s product(s) to contribute to the development of products that deliver value to the customer and meet the required business objectives
• Mastery of the technical skills needed to develop in all areas of the team’s product(s)
• Independently design and develop very complex systemic feature enhancements and resolve bugs
• Mentor junior developers in processes, technologies, products, and coding styles.
• Mentor junior developers producing simple and elegant code that consistently complies with ideal design patterns and coding standards
• Mentor junior developers assisting on large-sized features
• Ensure that products developed are of high quality
• Ensure that products developed are completed on time
• Proactively seek assistance as needed to complete work in a reasonable amount of time
• Seek out methods of product development to increase productivity and quality
• Actively participate in the Agile process such as daily huddles, estimating, code reviews, and retrospectives
• You will proactively work on your education to stay up-to-date on new technologies and development practices
   

Your profile

• Ability to demonstrate mastery in applying theories, principles, concepts, and methodologies to innovative solutions
• Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience
• Proficient in back-end C#, C/C++development is a must
• Experienced with .NET 5 – preferred
• Experienced with ASP.NET WebAPI is preferred
• Experienced with Entity Framework is preferred
• Understanding of OData 3/4, Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Understanding of microservice architectures
• Experience working with relational databases
• Experience with version control systems – Git preferred
• Experience with Agile Tools, CI/CD – Azure DevOps preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Someone who has a sense of pride, commitment, and personal accountability
• Behave in a manner to promote a strong team morale
• Consistently share information with team members to promote a strong cross-functional team
• Proactively seek technology knowledge to further the advancement of technologies in the product
