The Pediatric Oncology Support Team (POST) is seeking a dynamic person to plan and execute fundraising campaigns and run our annual fundraising events. POST is a WPB based nonprofit organization helping local children and their families in six counties in Southeast Florida with emotional and financial needs.
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for advancement and development of the organization.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advancement field experience and two year's relevant experience
- General knowledge of advancement and development in an organization
- Flexibility to oversee and coordinate various advancement and development campaigns
- Computer proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Manage the organization's advancement events, committees, and projects.
- Create advancement initiatives and campaigns.
- Develop relationships with donors and volunteers to promote fundraising for the organization.
- Maintains and updates donors’ e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers.
- Manage donor acknowledgement and other communication platforms.
- Ensure all advancement and fundraising policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, and operating protocol are in compliance.
- Represent the organization with excellent public relations.
- Manage day to day general business affairs, to include but not be limited to coordination of interaction with vendors, suppliers, service providers, regulatory agencies, donors, and volunteers.
- Required to attend, lead, and support all organization events.
- All other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
Successful candidate will be a dynamic self-starter, and have excellent time management, organizational, graphic design, social media, communication, computer, and people skills. Special events planning and execution experience, as well as experience working with volunteers. Knowledge of marketing, social media platforms, and Office software necessary.
This job requires passing a criminal background check and drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
