Fullstack Software Engineer, Financial Services

Ovise is supporting a leading Financial giant who are currently at the forefront of the adoption of GenAI. As part of their transformation, they are rapidly expanding their Centre of Excellence and are seeking Fullstack Software Engineers to help build a number of key applications.

The Opportunity:

You’ll be part of a cross-functional team working on cutting-edge Generative AI solutions that directly impact all areas of the bank. This is a unique chance to work in a start-up-style environment within the stability and scale of an industry leader.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications with AI/ML capabilities.
2. Build and maintain AWS-based infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and cost optimization
3. Develop and integrate backend services using Python (Flask, FastAPI) and frontend applications with React and TypeScript
4. Ensure seamless interaction between modern applications, legacy systems, and external APIs
5. Lead iterative development cycles using Agile methodologies

Key Skills & Experience:

1. Strong experience developing fullstack applications within enterprise/regulated environments (React, Typescript, Python)
2. Experience working with AWS services (Lambda, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, IaC)
3. Data Science mindset, MLOps and model deployment techniques
4. Current GenAI experience / passion for GenAI with willingness to learn

Compensation:

1. $170,000 - $210,000
2. 20% bonus
3. 401(k) match
4. Fully remote
