Job Description:

Marketing & Social Media Coordinator

Anika Labs is a creative technology studio working across web design, development, branding, AI-powered solutions and digital products.

We’re looking for someone who can help grow Anika’s online presence through thoughtful marketing, strong social content and consistent communication.

This role is a good fit for someone who understands social media, enjoys finding interesting ways to present creative work and can turn projects, ideas and industry topics into content people actually want to engage with.

What you’ll work on

You may help with:

Planning and creating content for Anika’s social media channels

Writing captions, short-form posts and campaign copy

Turning completed projects into social content and case-study ideas

Helping promote articles, guides, services and new launches

Researching relevant trends, topics and content opportunities

Developing ideas for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other channels

Scheduling and organizing social media content

Helping maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms

Working with our designers, writers and developers on campaigns

Suggesting ways to improve engagement and reach

Monitoring basic social performance and identifying what content works

Helping build simple content calendars and campaign plans

You won’t be expected to do everything alone. Design, development and other creative support are available within the team.

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in someone who:

Understands how different social media platforms work

Can write clear, natural and engaging content

Has a good eye for visual presentation

Can come up with original content ideas rather than simply following trends

Is comfortable researching unfamiliar topics

Can work independently and communicate clearly online

Pays attention to quality and small details

Is interested in design, technology, branding, marketing or digital products

Is willing to experiment, learn and improve

Experience with tools such as Canva, Figma, Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Later or similar platforms is useful, but not required.

Experience with video, Reels or short-form content is also a plus.

About the role

This is a remote role.

Anika Labs works with clients internationally, particularly businesses in the United States and Europe.

We care much more about the quality of your thinking and work than formal qualifications. Students, recent graduates and early-career applicants are welcome if they have strong communication skills and genuine interest in marketing and social media.

We prefer to start with smaller tasks so we can understand how you work before gradually involving you in larger campaigns and client projects.

There is also potential for future paid client work and longer-term opportunities as Anika Labs grows.

To apply

Please send:

A short introduction about yourself

Any relevant social media, marketing or content experience

Links to work, accounts, campaigns or examples you have contributed to, if available

A few sentences about the kind of social media or marketing work you enjoy most

Portfolio examples are helpful, but not required if you’re still building experience.

About Anika Labs
