Job Description:


Tru Consulting is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to support brand visibility, demand generation, and go-to-market execution across digital and in-person channels. This role is well-suited for an early-career marketer who enjoys hands-on execution, creative production, and managing day-to-day marketing activities across social media, email, events, and content.

You will work closely with the VP of Marketing and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Delivery, and Client Services teams to execute campaigns, develop marketing assets, support events and help tell a clear, compelling Tru story to the market.

Key Responsibilities


Social Media & Digital Presence

  1. Own Tru’s LinkedIn presence, including content calendar planning, post creation, scheduling, and publishing
  2. Engage with followers and support community management through thoughtful interaction and responses. Optimize company profiles, post formats, and timing to improve reach and engagement Track and report on social performance metrics and insights

Creative Production & Brand Support

  1. Design on-brand visual assets using Canva for social media, email campaigns, webinars, event materials, and sales enablement materials.
  2. Support creative needs for campaigns, conferences, and internal initiatives.
  3. Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and communication assets.


Email Marketing & Campaign Execution

  1. Plan, build, and deploy targeted email campaigns using HubSpot (or similar tools). Support list segmentation, messaging, and basic automation workflows.
  2. Monitor performance metrics and recommend optimizations to improve engagement and conversion.

Events & Industry Engagement

  1. Support planning and promotion of webinars and virtual events.
  2. Represent Tru Consulting at industry conferences and exhibitions 4–5 times per year.
  3. Assist with booth coordination, collateral preparation, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up.

You Might Be a Great Fit If You

  1. Have 2-5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or digital content roles
  2. Are comfortable owning execution across social, email, and creative tasks
  3. Have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  4. Enjoy working with tools like Canva, HubSpot (or similar platforms), and CMS tools
  5. Are proactive, adaptable, and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  6. Are interested in consulting, or mission-driven work supporting public sector and higher education institutions.
