Role Overview

In this role, you will work across multiple areas of our product and contribute to both backend development and pipeline support. You will be involved in designing code and development pipelines while adapting to changing business needs.

The position also requires learning and understanding the product’s business logic. You will collaborate directly with the Head Architect to develop solutions for complex and unique challenges.

Essential Job Functions

1. Work closely with business analysts to design, develop, and test new features for the core product
2. Collaborate with support analysts to identify and resolve bugs
3. Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies and integration opportunities
4. Write clean, reliable, and high-performing code with future maintenance in mind
5. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the manager

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
2. Minimum of 8+ years of relevant industry experience
3. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database concepts
4. Expert-level experience with PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ
5. Advanced knowledge of SQL and database architecture
6. Strong experience with Docker, containerization, Kubernetes, EKS, Helm, FluxCD, and Karpenter
7. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills
9. High attention to detail
10. Experience with object-relational mapping (ORM) tools
11. Familiarity with Agile development practices

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this full-time role is $170,000 – $200,000.

Actual compensation is determined based on factors such as education, experience, skills, geographic location, and alignment with market data. Some roles may also qualify for a discretionary bonus depending on program guidelines and management approval.
