We are a cannabis company serving consumers throughout the state and are committed to producing high-quality cannabis products while maintaining rigorous compliance with state and federal regulations. We are looking to have a candidate join our team in the Gallatin Gateway/Bozeman area to support our growing organization. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 per year with opportunities for career advancement and professional development within the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities:

• Hiring and recruitment: conduct interviews, coordinate interviews with candidates with their respective prospective managers, prepare and extend job offers
• Onboarding: initial offer letter generation and submission, documentation collections, onboarding candidates to our HR system.
• Data processing and filing: manage data collection processes related to employee information, payroll, and HR metrics.
• Payroll and benefits management: timesheets and health insurance options
• Employee relations and disciplinary proceedings: handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
• Policy development: including implementation and effective communication/trainings for all employees
• Administer FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) processes and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations.
• Legal compliance: ensure compliance with DOR Cannabis Control division laws: inventory controls, documentation standards, security regulations etc

Skills:

• Experience in HR sourcing strategies and recruitment processes.
• Strong data collection and analysis skills.
• Familiarity with payroll procedures and systems.
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective employee relations management.
• Willingness to learn
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in Human resources or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree

This position is FULL TIME ONLY, Monday through Friday 9-5, onsite with occasional travel within Montana required. Please do not apply if you are not interested with full time employment or onsite work.

$55,000 per year with 30% off discount, $200/month in-store credit, paid time off and insurance benefits after 60 days of employment.
