About the Job:

· Manage competing scheduling needs and calendar management, domestic travel arrangements, and gatekeeping functions to assure the Managing Partner is prepared with daily agendas.

· Edit and proofread legal documents with a fine attention to detail.

· Prepare and process expense reimbursements, generate monthly client billing and submit billable hours.

· Coordinate board meeting materials, scheduling, room set-up and take-down, meeting notes and follow-up action items.

· Provide extended support to senior Partners when requested.

· Act as an extension of office administrative functions such as light event planning, catering, IT troubleshooting and ad hob projects.

· Complete light personal assistant duties such as errand running, personal travel coordination, etc.

About You:

· Qualified. You have at least five years’ experience working as an Executive Assistant or Legal Secretary to high-level Partners or Managing Partners.

· Legal-minded. Knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, principles, and procedures is preferred; quick to learn new material.

· Detailed. You know how critical quality work is to a legal case and practice confidentiality.

· Resourceful. You are a troubleshooter and enjoy thinking on your feet.

· Adaptable. You are driven to learn your executive’s needs and adjust to changing priorities smoothly.

· Level-headed. You remain calm and focused on deliverables.

· Highly communicative. You provide clear communication to clients and internal contacts.
