Job Description:

Event Manager

Duties:
- Plan, organize, and execute various types of events, such as conferences, weddings, corporate meetings, and fundraisers
- Coordinate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives
- Develop event timelines and budgets
- Source and negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and venues
- Manage event logistics, including setup, teardown, and on-site coordination
- Oversee event marketing efforts to attract attendees and promote the event
- Ensure excellent guest services throughout the event
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event operations
- Handle any issues or emergencies that may arise during events
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event

Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan and manage multiple events simultaneously
- Experience in banquet or hotel event management preferred
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies to attract attendees and promote events
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and deliver successful events within budget
- Ability to negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Exceptional guest service skills to provide a positive experience for attendees
- Proficient in event planning software and tools for efficient coordination and communication
- Familiarity with fundraising strategies for organizing successful fundraising events
