What You Will Do
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will own the full lifecycle of digital and social content creation, from concept through execution. You will work under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure brand consistency and alignment. While topics will be provided, you are expected to bring fresh ideas, conduct research, and develop engaging campaigns.
You will manage six distinct social media accounts, each with its own audience and content strategy. You will also lead the monthly blog program, ensuring it aligns with social campaigns and broader marketing goals. Email marketing is a key part of this role, with responsibility for designing and sending weekly campaigns that highlight promotions, events, and seasonal experiences.
This role suits someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable working independently while driving creative output.
Responsibilities
- Create and produce all social media content, including graphics, videos, captions, and posts, from idea to final delivery, with approval from the Senior Marketing Manager.
- Manage six social media accounts, tailoring content to each audience while maintaining brand consistency.
- Research trends, competitors, and content ideas to keep campaigns relevant and engaging.
- Build and maintain a social media calendar aligned with resort events and marketing initiatives.
- Write, publish, and promote a monthly blog integrated with social and email strategies.
- Design and execute weekly email campaigns using both assigned topics and self-generated ideas.
- Maintain active and engaging social channels with consistent posting and high-quality visuals.
- Respond promptly and professionally to comments, messages, and reviews.
- Collaborate with marketing leadership, corporate teams, and internal departments to ensure consistent messaging.
- Identify and manage influencer partnerships and social collaborations to expand reach.
- Support digital content needs for on-site events and activations.
- Track performance metrics and deliver monthly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Stay informed on emerging tools, trends, and best practices in digital marketing.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple social media accounts at once.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent writing ability for blogs, social posts, and email campaigns.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Revinate or Mailchimp.
- Experience using tools like HeyOrca and Asana.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Working knowledge of CMS platforms, with WordPress preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- At least one year of marketing experience preferred, ideally in hospitality.
Qualifying Standards
- Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Two or more years in marketing or hospitality marketing preferred.
