We are seeking a Senior Content Writer with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our editorial team and manage content for multiple client websites. This role requires an individual with expert-level skills in copy editing and writing high-quality content. The role also requires experience in optimizing content, developing meta tags and other technical SEO components, and an understanding of how to research search topics and align content to market trends and user search behaviors. The ideal candidate will generate new content ideas, ensure consistency across all web copy, and maintain a strong focus on SEO-driven performance. Additionally, this individual will oversee the ongoing creation and management of quality content fed into our proprietary AI software application tool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Content Oversight: Manage and maintain content across multiple client websites, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment with SEO strategies and brand guidelines.
• Content Creation: Write, edit, and proofread various content types, including website, blog posts, and marketing copy.
• Content Optimization: Research and incorporate SEO best practices in all written content to improve web traffic and search engine rankings for client websites.
• Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies) to generate accurate and valuable content.
• Content Strategy: Identify gaps in existing content across multiple websites and recommend new topics based on audience needs and market trends.
• SEO Technical Integration: Implement SEO guidelines in all content, including meta descriptions, keywords, and backlinks, tailored to specific customer demographics.
• Proprietary AI Software Management: Write, manage, and feed quality content into a proprietary AI software application tool on an ongoing basis, ensuring the tool has the most up-to-date, accurate, and optimized content.
• Collaboration: Work with client relations teams to ensure content aligns with visual elements and overall branding for each client.
• Consistency: Ensure all-around consistency in tone, style, and formatting across multiple websites.
• Content Updates: Regularly update and optimize website content for multiple clients based on evolving SEO trends and marketing objectives.

Requirements:

• Proven 8+ years of experience as a content writer or copywriter with a strong reputation for quality.
• Hands-on experience in content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress.
• Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices and experience in integrating them into web content.
• Ability to research and write on a wide variety of industry-relevant topics.
• Experience managing content across multiple websites simultaneously.
• Know-how on best practices of AI integration into content and maintaining a balance between AI and HI (human intelligence).
• Knowledge of Generative AI search results and value
• Strong editing and proofreading skills, with attention to detail.
• Experience working with design and marketing teams to create cohesive content strategies.
• Excellent writing skills with a focus on technical SEO components, including keyword research and SEO-friendly formatting.
• Experience or willingness to learn how to manage content within proprietary AI software systems.
• Familiarity working with G4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and other Google platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO tracking tools is preferable.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
