Seeking a self-motivated and detail oriented individual to join our small design team as an assistant designer.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a passionate design team for one of the hottest, rapidly growing lines in the junior market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in coordinating and completing assignments and projects as required, along side Designer and Creative Director

Collaborate in creating artwork, boards, recaps, reports/decks as needed

Flat sketching in illustrator

Prepare Technical Packages including sketches, specs, artwork, and all details necessary to sample garment correctly

Create and maintain CADS & line sheets

Keep seasonal colors, palettes, and standards up to date

Research and stay up to date on market trends

Manage tasks including filing, organizing of design development, artwork, trims, fabric sourcing, lab dip approvals, etc.

Participate in Design meetings and attend fit sessions

Manage and adhere to Time and Action Calendar

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Product Development, or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience in related field. This is NOT an entry level job position

Candidate must be able to come for an in-person interview only.

This is a full time in-off Monday-Friday work schedule

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Zoom

Browzwear experience a strong plus but not necessary

Walmart experience a strong plus

Strong attention to detail

Strong communication details both written and oral

Must be flexible/adaptable, a fast learner and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
