Responsibilities:

  • Lead our front and back-end web development teams, collaborating with hosting partners and third-party developers to ensure excellence in technical and product quality.
  • Set standards for web development processes, aligning with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct code reviews, offering insightful feedback to internal and external code.
  • Spearhead development planning, scoping, and technical architecture.
  • Serve as a high-level technical resource, guiding the team through complex problem-solving.
  • Explore and implement new platforms and systems to advance our company goals.
  • Manage intricate project plans, ensuring accurate timelines and clear communication of expectations.
  • Identify and address project risks and issues, driving resolutions with a structured approach.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation to facilitate a shared understanding among team members.
  • Analyze and report on project metrics, maintaining transparency on progress and challenges.
  • Engage in daily communication with team leaders, management, clients, and partners, aligning on direction, strategy, and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Profound experience in WordPress frontend and backend development.
  • Proficiency in git and version control operations.
  • 4+ years of experience in building and managing high-performing web development teams.
  • A broad understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the web stack – HTML/JS/CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc.
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects to successful completion.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-driven, creative thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum.
  • Expertise in back-end web development.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp.
  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
