Position Summary:
The VP of Ecommerce is responsible for leading and scaling the digital commerce strategy across all channels. This role will drive online revenue growth, enhance the customer experience, and ensure seamless integration of digital and traditional operations. The VP will lead a cross-functional team across digital marketing, merchandising, technology, UX, analytics, and operations to build and optimize the company’s eCommerce ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overarching eCommerce strategy to achieve business objectives, including revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition goals.
- Lead a high-performing team including digital marketing, site merchandising, UX/UI, platform operations, and analytics.
- Optimize digital customer experience across desktop, mobile, and app platforms.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, IT, and finance to ensure seamless execution of omnichannel initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and emerging technology to enhance eCommerce performance.
- Own the eCommerce P&L, ensuring profitability and long-term value creation.
- Analyze and report on KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, average order value (AOV), customer lifetime value (CLTV), and return on ad spend.
- Manage relationships with external partners including agencies, platforms, and vendors.
- Ensure best-in-class security, compliance, and data privacy practices are maintained.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in eCommerce or digital leadership roles, preferably within consumer brands or retail.
- Proven track record of growing online revenue at scale.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento), SEO/SEM, digital analytics, and UX/UI best practices.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Tableau.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170,000.00 - $230,000.00 per year
