TEOCO’s Audit team is seeking a smart, self-motivated, and collaborative candidate. This is a great opportunity to gain or build upon experience in consulting, developing a foundation of utility invoice knowledge and learning software tools.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be responsible for working with TEOCO’s third-party payment vendor to ensure prompt payment of approved client transactional records through scheduled automated feeds or through a documented manual exception process. This will involve reviewing reporting from the third-party vendor, internal reporting from TEOCO’s Bill Trak Pro system, and interacting on a regular basis with contacts at the third-party vendor.
- The candidate will be required to understand the overall process flow between TEOCO and the Third Party vendor and interact with any internal TEOCO resources should issues arise during the process.
- In addition, the candidate will be responsible for fielding and addressing payment escalations from the client and ensuring the successful resolution of issues within service-level agreements. In special cases, the candidate will be responsible for making payments directly to vendors through an emergency credit card or other approved means.
- The candidate will also be responsible for following methods and procedures as documented in the client Operations Guide for all tasks and to support efforts to keep the Guide updated to reflect current client-approved procedures.
- As part of client support, the candidate must ensure coverage, along with another resource, of an 8 am-8 pm EST payment escalation window each day. This will involve cross-training other resources on tasks if regular resources are unavailable.
- The candidate will be responsible for entering and managing tickets associated with this process within TEOCO and/or the third-party vendor systems.
Experience and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math or Statistics.
Desirable:
- 2+ years of experience working in a utility or an A/P environment.
- Superior software PC skills in MS Excel, Access, Business Objects, and Word.
