Pay Range: $80k - $85k/Annum. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Technical Writer, specifically with expertise in documenting legal software applications.
- Interact with Legal professionals (US Based Lawyers) and converting them
- Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or similar platforms.
- Manage product Release and co-ordinate with Product owner on Documentation (Release notes / User Manuals etc.,)
- Has good understanding of Legal proceedings in various US Jurisdictions.
- Has good understanding of configurations of Cases, various proceedings, Citations, Trials, Depositions, settlements, related judgements are managed within a system used by Legal Professionals.
- Excellent communication skills in US English, both written and spoken, are essential to effectively understand requirements and deliver comprehensive documentation.
- Additionally, you should have a good understanding of the documentation release process for software products.
- Collaborate closely with the Onsite Product Owner, Customer Technical Service team, and other stakeholders to gather information and understand the intricacies of the legal software applications developed specifically for case management.
- Create and maintain user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and other technical documentation for the specialized legal software applications, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Develop a deep understanding of the legal applications, their features, functionality, and best practices through research, hands-on experience, and engagement with subject matter experts.
- Work closely with the development team to stay informed about upcoming features and enhancements, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and synchronized with product releases.
- Position would need to be based out of US as there is a requirement to closely work with Product and End-Customer teams.
